Future Projects
In Ghatkopar (East) in Guru Nanak Nagar, Gharkul Gruha Nirman Sanstha and Naidu Colony the work of the joint development project of Transit Colony will be commenced soon
Necessary funds will be made available and work will start soon for the complete repairs of Railway Police Colony, Ghatkopar
Rules and regulations will be prepared to solve the problems cropped up in the availability of F.S.I. in the redevelopment of row-houses situated in Rajawadi Co.0p.Housing Society colonies
Permission will be obtained to do the crossing of Mahanagar Gas Pipe lines for giving Gas connections in Rajawadi Locality
Mahanagar Gas connections will be made available in Pantnagar, Naidu Colony, H.I.G., Rly.Police Colony areas
Govt. Hospital, Taluka Playground complex and Hindu Cemetery will be started on survey No. 236-A in Ghatkopar (East)
By framing rule and regulations on the space to be allotted to hawkers, control over the hawkers will be kept to avoid the problems faced by the general public, vehicles, etc. We will insist on giving permission to the hawkers who are residents of Ghatkopar itself
On Eastern Express Highway encroachments have come up with the blessings of the Congress Front govt. of Maharashtra. These will be removed and beautiful and attractive gardens and Ganesh Immersion ponds will be made there. For this work, now itself Municipal Corporation has set aside Rupees One Crore from the MLA Funds
Rules and regulations laid down by the Deonar Slaughter House will be strictly observed and illegal slaughter houses in the city will be closed down
Problem of pollution created by Deonar Dumping ground will be sorted out
Mumbai vision 2020 – We will prepare all purpose policy for the development of Mumbai and the same will be implemented gradually in the next 5 years
We will soon implement the recommendations made by Afzalpurkar Committee in respect of redevelopment of old land dilapidated buildings of Mumbai suburbs
We will implement the redevelopment projects of 33 slums in Ghatkopar, which has been stuck up in the red top of the Congress Front Govt. Thus Ghatkopar will get rid of slums
The Slums of Mata Ramabai Ambedkar Nagar, Kamraj Nagar, Netaji Nagar and Nityanand Nagar will be redeveloped in township on the pattern of Dharavi Township Project
In Ghatkopar, we will complete development work the transist camp work of Laxmibaug, Laxmi Nagar, Kanara Engineering as well as Naidu Colony, Pantnagar and will give ownership housed to the residents in Ghatkopar itself
The residents of Mumbai City and suburbs whose names appear in the Master list of Transit Camp will be given their legitimate houses after completing the formalities
Those in Ghatkopar East, Kamraj Nagar covered under S.R.A. project, but could not get the houses will be given houses after completing legal formalities
Speedy actions will be taken about rehabilitation of the slum dwellers of Mumbai Suburban, Ghatkopar East hill top areas
Priority will be given to the rehabilitation of Mumbai East Slum dwellers on 1267 , Salt Land
The Andheri-Ghatkopar Link Road will be opened for vehicular traffic before March, 2015
The incomplete road at the end of Eastern Express Highway near Chheda Nagar will be extended to Ghatkopar BEST Depot. To solve the traffic problem caused on the junction of Chheda Nagar will be solved by constructing new Fly Over. Repairs will be carried out on the elevated road near old R.T.O. Office, Ghatkopar to sort out the traffic problem
Soon we will start the work of Vidyavihar East-West flyover
The stalled work of conversion of 6 rail lines on Mumbai-Kurla-Thane will be resumed soon
A parallel road will be made to join Andheri-Ghatkopar Link Road from GaurishankarWadi in East side of Ghatkopar and on Nityanand Nagar on West side of railway tracks. • Metro Rail project 2 & 3 will be completed as scheduled
We will support the proposal to extend the Mono Rail from Chembur to Ghatkopar
The number of Ghatkopar-V.T. Local trains will be increased
We will raise the statue of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj (Riding horse) in Arabian Ocean. Personal attention will be given to the Statue of international standard of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar (Memorial)
The work of making memorial of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar near Mata Ramabai Nagar as well as making a statue of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar in Dr.Ambedkar garden will be completed
